We, at Estel Ingeniería y Obras, are especially proud to say that we were part of the new H10 hotel project within its Ocean line. The H10 Ocean El Faro Punta Cana is already a reality, a true paradise open to its visitors, and an example of what the most cutting-edge hotel facilities should look like.
As an international engineering and construction company, Estel’s team has contributed to shaping this project in the idyllic Dominican Republic. With the goal of offering its guests the maximum comfort and a truly unforgettable experience, the H10 Ocean El Faro opened last December and stands majestically like a lighthouse (as its name suggests) on the front line of Punta Cana beach.
This time, the entire Estel team has worked for H10 focusing on designing and implementing the extraction and ventilation systems, as well as air-conditioning and electrical installation in the central building. This newly built, luxurious hotel offers first-rate facilities and engineering, thanks to the work carried out by our technicians and our multidisciplinary experience; we approach every project with the maximum efficiency.
A 5-star hotel that shines brightly
The new 5-star Ocean El Faro is in the Uvero Alto area and has a total of 618 rooms (first 2018 phase), extending to another 293 Junior Suites and Suites in an exclusive area for adults in the summer of 2019 (next phase of the project).
It has a dozen restaurants and bars, four swimming pools, a swimming river, water park, spa and gym, two tennis courts and a multi-sports court, and a complete sports centre. A theatre, bowling alley, casino and a nightclub are some of the leisure activity areas that complete a long list of services.
The opening of this new hotel complex is the result of the chain’s expansion in the Caribbean. Founded in the early 1980s, it currently has more than fifty hotels located in the world’s most important tourist destinations.
As part of its development plan, the hotel brand plans to open another seven hotels in the Caribbean, Spain and the rest of Europe in 2019. In total, H10 Hotels will close this present year with 67 hotels and 17,937 rooms, many of which boast Estel installations.
A one-of-a-kind destination
Undoubtedly, the Dominican Republic has become one of the trendiest holiday destinations in the world, and the most popular in the Caribbean. According to data from the area’s Central Bank, this attractive destination received the historic figure of 6.6 million tourists in 2018, representing a 6% increase over the previous year, in both the number of visitors and derived income.
Estel, leader in comprehensive installations worldwide, has participated in more than 200 hotel projects in the Caribbean, hand in hand with the most renowned companies in the sector, including H10, naturally.
We would like to thank this particular hotel chain for trusting us, once again, this time to handle the general installations in Punta Cana’s Ocean El Faro. We hope to offer all our experience for their future engineering and installation projects.
